Get Healthy, Owls is a 12 week individual or team wellness challenge for all Kennesaw State University employees to increase physical activity and ultimately improve the health of Kennesaw State University (KSU) employees. Experts recommend taking 10,000 steps per day (approximately 5 miles) or at least 150 minutes moderate-intensity aerobic activity per week to achieve the health benefits associated with physical activity. Additionally, our goal is to encourage healthy weight, body fat percentage, decrease smokers within the campus community, and better stress management.
Are You Ready to Join Get Healthy, Owls?
STEP 1: Click on the "START HERE" tab at the top of the screen and read through the Employee Fitness Center's Get Healthy, Owls Program overview, rules, and F.A.Qs.
STEP 2: Once you have read through the programs information, click on the "Agreement to Participate and Wellness Survey" and fill out the required necessary information to participate in the program.
STEP 3: Please register with the American Heart Association (AHA) to receive your complimentary pedometer to use with the program and also to be able to fill out your weekly program logs.
